A few hours with our daughter!

We spent about three hours at the orphanage today.  The time seems to go by so quickly when we are there.  When we arrived, we knocked on the door for about 5-10 minutes before someone let us in.  We were told the children were taking their nap.  We were taken to the activity room to wait for our children.

Emily came into the room and gave us both big hugs.  We sat at a table and played games.  Emily picked up the camera and took a few pictures.  She really enjoys photography.  Emily mentioned to the others in the room that her sister, Rachel, is involved in photography.

Emily then played games on the laptop.  She was playing Hotel Dash and Diner Dash.  She was having a lot of fun playing both.  She thought Hotel Dash was hard.  We found out later that she started on a higher level on that game.

After playing these games, we put the Scooby Doo DVD into the computer.  Emily loves this movie.  While she and Masha watched the video, I handed them some Twizzlers that I brought from home.  The girls had never had Twizzlers before.  Both of them really enjoyed the candy.

A little while later, about 15 children came into the room.  Laura started to pass out the Twizzlers to the other children.  Emily asked Laura if she could pass it out and Laura let her.  Emily gets so much pleasure from sharing with others.  Again, she is such an amazing young lady.  Most of the kids liked the Twizzlers.  A few didn't like it.  Some of the kids ate their Twizzlers while sitting in front of the computer watching the movie.

The time to leave arrived again.  Emily seemed really sad that we had to leave.  This reaction seems more evident each time we have to leave.  We had to collect our stuff and leave.  Emily walked Laura and I to the door.  Emily hugged me and gave me a kiss.

It is getting harder each day to leave at the end of our visit.  We can tell it is getting harder for Emily also.
